The Little Italian Place

With a Calabrese mother and a Sicilian father I felt pretty confident that Franco was going to make pasta just like my Nonna and Mumma, and boy did he deliver! I left feeling totally satisfied by the generous amount of flavourful sauce as well as the overall portion size. It's easy to miss this place, but I asked a few locals where I could find the best pasta, and they all pointed me to The Little Italian Place.

The best pasta in Sydney! We had to go multiple times! If only we can try all of what they offer! Frank made our stay at Potts Point memorable. Pasta’s homey, comforting, great coffee and ambiance. He even gave recommendations and our quick conversations were nice. We will definitely come back in our next trip to Sydney. This place made us feel welcomed and at home in Sydney. Delicious authentic pasta cooked the way my Nona used to do. And Franco is always kind and funny which creates a great atmosphere.

Lovely little restaurant. Easily missed if you're not looking for it, but an absolute gem in Potts Point. Went with my girlfriend to try it out last Sunday - delicious, flavour-packed food at a ridiculously fair price. The owner, Frank, is also a lovely chap, happy to chat to customers when he gets a quick break from the kitchen. Usually runs the place on his own but his new member of staff seemed to have picked up the role quick and gave great service. Thanks Frank, we'll be back!

One of the best, friendliest neighbourhood places, where you can practice your Italian and experience the most delicious pastas in the area and italian style coffees. The menu is simple, but you will not be disappointed by what Franco cooks for you. It’s surprising what he can whip up in such a tiny kitchen. Breakfast options are also tasty. A must try!

The shop is located near Harris Farm Markets (Kings Cross Station) Lovely, hospitable owner who gave recommendation of the dish to suit your liking ** Great pasta dish made fresh to order. I tried the special of the day which was smoked salmon, Olives and Pecorino cheese. The pasta was cooked al dente, toppings were generous to the ratio of the pasta. You could tell that the ingredients used in that dish were fresh. Cannoli is a MUST TRY! Rich filling cream inside the crispy biscuit. Well complimented with hot black coffee on a cold day.

As a visitor to Sydney, I chose to have lunch at The little Italian Restaurant based purely on all the good reviews. I was not disappointed. Beautiful creamy pasta with chicken & mushrooms. Size was perfect for lunch. I was worried would not eat it all but ate the whole lot. The pasta was perfection. Would definitely return if ever back in Potts Point. Thanks Frank for being a great host as well.

Delicious pasta! As an Italian, I can only confirm this wonderful specialty! I felt at home, as if someone had cooked for me in my hometown. If anyone wants to eat good pasta in our area, here you will simply taste the flavors of our land. I hope you come, and congratulations to Frank (the owner) for bringing us this wonderful specialty.
